About Ken Bookman

I am an independent writer and editor, and I live in the Philadelphia area. Since 1995, I have worked with clients on a wide variety of projects — books, newsletters, brochures, academic documents, and business documents. From 1982 to 1990, I was the food editor of The Philadelphia Inquirer and am the coauthor of seven cookbooks published by various New York publishing houses. That’s one reason that cookbooks are so heavily represented on my book list. I have overseen the publication of more than 20 other books on many subjects, and my corporate clients include The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, The University of Pennsylvania, The Pew Charitable Trusts, and Independence Blue Cross. I also review and edit manuscripts of all sorts and have produced newsletters for many small-business clients.
